Let's hear what art means to you!

POSSIBLE collaborates with MoMA on Art140 to generate public discussion about art.

We’ve launched ART140 in collaboration with Museum of Modern Art. ART140 is an open project, inviting people to share their thoughts and feelings about Works of Art in no more than 140 characters.

The project seeks to open up the conversation around art between people from all walks of life, revealing how the meaning of art differs by age, gender or geography.

This social activation is combining the power of social media with works of art. The website is showcasing iconic pieces of art from the collection of MoMA. Here people select a work of art and express what they mean to them on Twitter, in 140 characters or less via the hashtag #art140.

Later on, we will analyze the tweets to understand how people feel and think about the art, bringing forward new interpretations and insights. These findings will be unveiled later in the year.

The project got uncovered on the SXSW festival in Austin by the two founders, David Stock from POSSIBLE and Victor Samra from MoMA. ART140 had massive media coverage, mentioned by plenty of sites, such as Adweek or Yahoo.
